hi im king cut

do you like to help people? if so anyone or only your friends? whats the nicest thing you have done?
questions questions so many questions so little time ahhhh

ive always liked answering questions for people and helping them out
thats why the morning clan chats came out i made my clan chat into a runescape related help chat

but since i started running a help chat ive noticed alot of people seem to despise the very existance of my chat
and have been finding it to be very very stressfull

some people seem to hate the idea of a help chat that they actually spent time out of there lives to make videos of them spamming my chat swearing at me or even reporting me for no reason
ive had to kick thousands of accounts from my chat due to this including about 20 accounts with my name changed a bit to be offencive or hatefull

but everytime somone says "thank you" it makes it all worthwhile

oh if any of you wish to speak to me my private chat is almost always "on" but sometimes i usually get a little bit busy so i might answer slowly or might even miss the message please dont get mad and spam me or anything if i miss your message or answer too slowly i try my best

oh and if u like helping people with runescape related questions or need help yourself feel free to join my chat (its "king_cut" chat)

i wrote a poem for nice people =)

I enjoy helping newer players. Sometimes I just spend an hour giving away full steel to the players fresh out of the tutorial island. Lately, I haven't really been going out of my way to help other players. The main problem I have is that I get asked questions about every second I turn on my private chat. I don't really mind helping but for the fact that people decide that they are the only people I should talk to and spam my private chat if I don't reply with in like ten seconds.

I haven't had any mock names after me like you but I guess they are jealous of your abilities.

I'll check in sometimes when I'm on and see if I can help out in your chat. Usually I'm busy using mine though for help, business matters, and chatting with friends.

The "Thank you" makes everything worth while. One thank you can last the whole day or longer.

I don't mind helping people. But most people just want to use you for certain things, like free stuff. So mostly I just ignore everyone because else I wouldn't be playing at all anymore, if I had to answer everyone's needs.

I enjoy helping people, certainly. I don't remember, but I help those as often as I can. And of course if I'm in a good mood.

I love to help people, exept if they go asking annoying question and are being annoying about it etc.

i once was helping a lvl 77 on how to start slayer..

well you go to the slayer master in burthorpe first. he walks away. i get pm saying: where is burthorpe? i tell him to look on world map and search for burthorpe. later i find him in lumbridge. he says: 'i went to burthorpe but couldn't find slayer master so i did lumbridge homeport' i tell him to go to the edgeville dungeon and explore the whole of the non-wildy area of it. he asks where edgeville is. i end up showing him. he asks where the dungeon is... i end up showing him AND i also show him the slayer master. i tell him to get a slayer assignment from him. he does so. he asks: where do i find wolves? at this point i'm so irritated that i say 'white wolf mountain' and then log out before he can ask any other stupid question O_O

Anyway as for helping people, i do a lot of the time, helping people with quests etc. That is all down to someone who gave me full steel when i got off tutorial island aswell as my mate giving me full bronze leet croft, it might have been you who gave me the full steel . Ive also been given 3mil for free in the past so helping is a thing for me

I try to help as many people as I can, unless I'm truly busy on something that I really want to get finished with, or If I'm not in a good mood like some people have said. I also don't like helping people that beg for my help by spamming in a way, like... "plz help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" It makes them look like a child/noob when they use so many exclamation points.

Or when you've agreed to help somebody and you realize that they're a noob because they start spamming things like... "weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee" because they're happy that I offered to help them.

They can get really annoying If the right noob asks for your help.

I tend to enjoy helping people in-game. It's nice to think that I am doing something beneficial for someone else.

I Personally HATE helping new people, not cuz there poor or alot of them beg, it's just I don't have the patience, I sit there and tell them how to smelt ore and then they reveal they don't know what ore is, and how to get it. I don't mind helping people if its a quick question, or you need a law rune quickly.
pattercake22
yes i love to help people, mainly because when i first started someone gave me full steel.

i helped this guy who was stuck on a quest once and for helping him he gave me 100k and a big thanks, its not really for the money (thats not possible now) but in the end its all for the thanks, makes your day smile.gif

the only bad thing is when you help them for awhile and you dont even get a thanks.
king cut
yea the "thank you"s allways makes it worth while when you get them

my favorite thank yous are all the thank you videos =)
my absolute favorite vid so far is the one where somone drew a picture of me =) thats a good feeling
pattercake22

I mainly enjoy helping older players about 50/50. Some are actually grateful and other just expected to be helped. I tend to help yonger players more than other ones since I know I can help them more and easier.
king cut
ive found that helping new players is alot more fullfilling then helping experianced players
because the new players are usually alot more thankfull

tho sometimes it is alot harder to help a new player because they often do not know there way around runescape or what certain items are, they also dont know the terms and slang that runescape players use
pattercake22
helping new players is also worth the effort, you feel a lot better after using a lot more effort to help someone do something simple. Runescape is actually a hard game to learn, very hard for new players, so having lots of people helping new players is very rewarding for the game.

I would help people for anything they needed-well, almost anything. I am friends with lower level people, and they usually have problems that they ask me. Earlier today, I just switched onto Lunar Spells, and my friend pmed me asking about hunting. He wanted some hunting supplies, so I went over to the icey area where polar kebbits are, and I gave him hunting supplies via Hunter Kit spell. It feels good when you help people, even somebody you don't know.

If find that if I help them to much when they are lower level, they sometimes pass me up on a couple of skills. Worth it 100% still.
pattercake22
i think its good to know when you help a lower level then a certain skill you helped them on for example they get higher than you, proves you did a good job wink.gif

The nicest thing I've done would have to be when my clan mate got hacked I gave him 4mill.

He repaided the favour by giving me 10 mill when I got hacked.

So it's all good. cool.gif
