College in the Fall, here i come! Erm, Community College, that is. hehe
My Class of 2008 was huge; 560 graduates!
To be honest, I wasn't as nervous on the stage as I thought I was going to be. In fact, I wasn't very nervous at all, lol.
One thing is for sure though, I am DEFINITELY going to miss the fact that I won't get to see my friends at school every day due to the fact that they'll all be in completely different places now.
I just want to give one piece of advice to the people of this forum that haven't gotten to where I am, and that is, spend as much time as you can with your friends, because before you know it, it will be time to go to college. High school goes by surprisingly fast, which I wish it hadn't.
I even lost my best friend to drugs...
He got expelled right before Thanksgiving break, and I didn't know it until some time later. So I didn't even end up graduating in the same class as my best friend. Now he's currently doing "independent study"(as far as I know) in a RV/trailer, living with some crackhead girl. I believe that he just started hanging around the wrong type of people... I honestly don't know if I can still call him a "friend", let alone call him my "best friend"... I haven't seen him since before Thanksgiving break at school.So I guess I'm just trying to say, cherish every moment with your friends while you still can, because it won't be long before you'll all be going your seperate ways.
