I've been away for a week with college doing some long walking and some annoying sleeping in tents in really cold weather...
DAY 1
Anyway, on this lil trip our first 'task' was a bit of an easy one... Have fun swimming in a lake
A nice 40ft high jump in spot got the fun started, people jumping in and sh*tting themselves and the occasional moron who tried doing flips and landing face first
After a while the huge drops got boring and we decided to swim 400m to a little island in the middle of the lake.. Weee... t'was fun, can't believe how tiring it was :S I blame the waves from the ferry pushing us back... And stoppping to chat with some people on a little boat
Anyway. That night aws fun too, everyone was cold and wet and after some showers we all got dry and warm and went to sleep after cooking some sausages! (I undercooked mine slightly, didn't get the sh*t's though
DAY 2
Day 2, the rain started, and BOY did it start... And, most annoyingly of all.. It was time to climb ~970m above sea level onto Helvellyn. We all packed up some food, our stoves, 1st aid kits, spare clothes, the usuals, and set off on the first 2 miles from the camp site > the base of the mountain...
Here are some pics
A picture from the bottom

A little stream on the way up

Another little stream

1/4 the way up

2/5 the way up

Some mist pouring off the mountain

SHEEP!

A 'lil path I wished I could go along while climbing the side of the path

Trying to get a picture of the 600m drop, couldn't see far enough though lol

The instructor, peirs or peirce, I can't remember, and his dog patch helped us out alot here, after we reached the half way point the group had a choice to go the easy way, smooth up hill over a nice wide path without 800m drops at either side or the hard way, small steep uphill walk followed by a path as wide as our backpacks with 10-20ft drops along the path and unstable rocks aswell as a 3-400m drop on either side followed by a 200m near-verticle climb to the summit.
I have some video's of us at the top by the trig point (highest point) and they will be here soon
DAY 3
We get to make our own path to a destination only 20miles away

So, anyway, we f*cked up big time here!
We turned too early and missed the path up the mountain, thankfully for us we were all so god dam lazy and just decided to walk around the side
Nothing too interesting happened that day!
DAY 4
Nothing much but cannoing >_< 1 person fell in about 7 times but no1 else fell in and nother really interesting happened
DAY 5
We packed up and went home lol
