Report your findings here, i myself am ranging blue dragons at the moment in hopes of getting one since black dragons in taverly dungeon are full up.
appearntly people were trading santas for those sheilds :S
Rumour say that blue,red green, steel&bronze drags dont drop those visages. If someone get visage from any of those pliis post here.
They seem to be very rare, that's why people are paying over 20m
Ok they've now confirmed that it was like i thought except also steel drags drop visages.
Im at skele wyverns now

Those players who have completed the Dragon Slayer quest will already be able to get anti-dragonbreath shields from the Duke of Lumbridge. Oziach the Master Smith has recently found a way for members to upgrade this shield using a draconic visage - a powerful artefact from a forgotten age that is only occasionally dropped by powerful dragons. Combining the draconic visage with the anti-dragonbreath shield will result in a new type of shield: the dragonfire shield.
The dragonfire shield's power relies on storing dragonfire. The shield absorbs dragonfire just like the anti-dragonbreath shield, but every time it does so its stats become a little more powerful. The shield is also effective against the breath of skeletal wyverns (although it won't store any of it). The stored dragonfire can also be released by operating the shield, slightly reducing the shield's stats but firing a blast of dragonfire at an opponent!
On the topic of dragons, we've also updated Crandor to make it look more like the woeful place it became after Elvarg arrived. You'll also notice that the dungeon connecting Crandor to Karamja has been improved, and Elvarg's lair looks much more like a place a dragon might choose to live.

Iron, Steel, KBD, Black, and Skele's are the monsters, correct? I'm at Irons with my prayer pots and anti-fires, and I have had no luck except with bloods :p
Been killing Steel Dragons for the past 3 hours, nothing so far.
I'm out of prayer pots, so I'm going back to fletching/PC again lol.. so much for my 40M =\

my mate got one from kbd.
I attempted to camp out at steels/irons for a few hours on and off yesterday, only thing I got was a dragon skirt which is nearly impossible to even sell. 
Tbh this makes the 3rd Age Shield a complete waste. GF Jagex.

not really a waste mate, hence the shield has to be fully charged to be better than the 3rd age kite.
i myself havn't really tryed to one of these shields but mates have gotten them

All u really need is take flowers and go to blues and just afk there it only takes 50 breathes to charge fully.. 10 - 15 minutes to charge.. so ye.. unless your aiming for looks or 3rd age kite is useless atm..
doesnt' that charge only last one time unless u use special? then goes back to no charges? so lets say i want to pk with it. i fight some1 use it don't kill them . go back to green dragons charge again? thats alot of time 15mins
It states you can use the charges whenever you want, so charge it 50 times and don't use it. There you go, best shield in the game effortlessly.

Easier to charge at Metal Dragons. Take your shield + antifire pot, and let them use their farcast breath on you. Your shield will charge in 1-2 minutes.

Hmmm, hopefully this doesn't mean greens will be busier (I know they don't drop them, but the overflow from other drags, and people not knowing greens don't drop them might be a problem).

Probably has already gone into normal as people realised it isn't like "20mil per 100 dragons" like some thought at the first day.

I've max hit a 25 with the ranged attack. I've heard of people hitting higher but I'm not sure how it's possible. It's not overrated though, I've already taken mine to 24 wildy greens a load of times. The nice thing is it has all the benefit of the anti-dragonfire shield but since you get so much defense bonus out of it, you hardly have to eat for killing any type of dragon.
For instance, the ogre city blue dragons, I take maybe 2 or 3 lobsters and can melee enough blues down to fill up on an inventory of hides/bones.
They're more like 20m. I don't think they'll go any lower than 15m if the price drops like crazy.
Can anyone confirm if these drop off the Brutal Green Dragons and Mithril dragons?

Yep, was confirmed at RS official page.
My friend got one a couple of days ago. I tried to get one but only ended up losing 1.5m rather than gaining anything but some good old mage xp.
I'd actually like to see a picture of one. Anyone got one?

Friend of mine has one, they don't look to shabby, but it's a bit over priced. It will drop eventually to something more reasonable.
I spent a while at Black Drags, no luck. I'll just wait until they fall, no burning need at the moment.
