I> Prologue: The Storm
Runescape was all jollied up for Christmas and other Holidays throughout the world; little did they know the storm of Runescape history. It was around 12 rune past 5. In other words it was midnight. Anakin was walking to Lumbridge from ?Ye Olde Dyanor? to seek some nights rest in the guest bed the Duke set up for him. Halfway there the wind started to pick up, the snow that fell seemed to get bigger and fall very heavily. The Goblins that live outside seemed to have no place to run but toward the H.A.M headquarters they were instantly killed. Anakin walked though the snow for what seemed like hours. It was pounding on his light outfit. He had a scarf from Diango, a Reindeer Hat from Shanty Paws, Zamorak Robes, red boots and some gloves, and a Dragon Spear. As Anakin reached the General Store I saw sheep? Those poor sheep? They where just standing there like frozen statues as though nothing had happened. Little did he know they were statues and the poor farmer who owned those sheep was under the 10 Rune Feeties of snow. (The wool industry in Lumbridge came to a halt that very second. No longer did Lumbridge have the wealth of wool to support it.) By the time Anakin saw the road leading to Al Kaharid, Varrok, and Lumbridge castle the site was horrible Men, women, children, Heroes, thieves, Mages, tons of others gone with the snow. Anakin walked the empty street down to the castle with the wind pounding into him and snow hailing down unto him. It seemed a decade before he got the Castle, the lush green plants now covered with snow and dead, the River Lum froze right down to the bottom where the Rainbow fish lived killing them in a flash, the world of RuneScape frozen in one moment of time. This storm seemed like the end.
This storm canceled Christmas, shut down work places, destroyed winter crops, killed off many species of hunting animals, slayer animals, plants, seeds, and trees. The mage tree was wiped out intirley. The yew trees reduced to 3 in all of Runescape. The Maple trees went down to a little less than 10. The willows, oaks, jungle, hallow, jungle, and normal trees went down to only a few hundred. Fletching in Runescape came to a complete halt because the trees left where unable to cut. Mages suddenly disappeared off the face of RuneScape. The few of the ones left here in RuneScape could perform magic but it was only basic spells. Runecrafting came to a slow for all the mages able to teleport Rune Crafters to the Rune Essence lost their minds and magic?s in the storm, the abyss was lost again, and the temples ground to dust by the overly heavy snow. With nearly all the farms destroyed and plots of farming lost to extreme cold, farming plants was near impossible. Many player homes gave out under the extreme weight of the snow, butlers frozen in their beds, capes, costumes, and assorted food and runes lost forever. Mining was impossible. It seemed all the mining rocks were frozen over by unbreakable ice. The Runescape Economy went down and down until even Zezima was dirt poor. The skills needed to make money ether destroyed or downgraded. All of RuneScape went into a Depression because of one storm.
