Nub

This thread gave me an idea to post pictures about the old Server status picture. It was pretty much like a prehistoric hiscores. In it there wasn't the best players of the whole game, it showed the best players who played on that server at the moment. This meant that if lvl 50 and 49 miners were the highest ones on server 1, lvl 50 would be seen at server status and if lvl 46 was highest on server 2, he would be listed there. It also showed the age of you character, meaning the time it had been online.
Of course this revealed the server of the best of the best. However with really limited world map, knowledge what people usually did and only few servers it wasn't that big thing. Now if we had this, Zezima's server would be full within 30 secs. Also with the number of current high level players, it wouldn't be too fair. Also imagine how wild some of these lvl 54 nubs would go if they saw how long some of us have built our characters.

Just like mine and Draven's pictures, this one was taken just after the servers came back after an update. The amount of players is censored, but as you can see from the time the server has been up, there was an update or the server had crashed.

This picture shows the meaning of server status a bit better. You can see there wasn't too many servers yet, how many usually were on the servers and get an idea who were something back in then. Many legendary players there who should be remembered as being part of building this game.

This image doesn't only show legendary players and server status, it also shows the webpage a bit. Yep, Jagex has updated something else than just the game during these years.

Interesting picture here. As you can see, it's older than the others. Why? You can tell it by the number of the skills. I assume we still didn't have prayer (ok, pray good and pray evil lists which had no real purpose), magic was still divided into good and evil and fishing&crafting hadn't been introduced yet.
